Together with Rakhi Singh and Vessel, we created a new work of violin, electronics and vocal ensemble, responding Danish poet Inger Christensen’s masterpiece ‘It’.
Commissioned as part of New Music Biennial ten-year anniversary celebration in 2022, Logos was supported by PRS Foundation, Southbank Centre, Coventry UK City of Culture, broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and made available after the festival on NMC Recordings.
Following the London premiere at Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, we developed an extended set for Supersonic Festival including Rakhi Singh’s arrangement of LAD by Julia Wolfe, originally for 9 bagpipes but performed for 9 violins and an octave pedal.
